Iron
PhosphatingDPS offer an iron phosphating service for small and large components upto 7m long, 1m high and 0.9m wide for steel, including plated steel, galvanised steel, zinc plated components and zintec.
Treatment
Iron phosphating acts as a degreasing agent and deposits a fine coating across
a components surface area providing good adhesion on steels for powder
coating, stoving and air dry finishes as well as good resistance to corrosion.
Iron phosphating is also suitable for aluminium but chromating, an in-house
specialty of ours is more effective on aluminium components.
Zinc
Plated Surfaces
Iron phosphating is also used to condition zinc
coated surfaces as it removes zinc salts and oxides
to improve the paint adhesion.
