Stove Enamelling

We offer a standard stoving service using a wide range of colours. Stove enamelling is ideal for internal applications in most environments and is particularly good for chemically aggressive environments such as engineering and chemical facilities. Both the 333 alkyd and 943 acrylic stoving finishes from Cromadex are available as standard.

333 Alkyd Stoving Topcoat
The 333 Alkyd stoving topcoat from Cromadex has a substantial track record and proven performance. The coating of mar resistant, suitable for tough environments and available in a wide range of colours. The coating also meets the requirements of Defence Standards 80-25 and 80-48.

943 Acrylic Stoving Topcoat
The 333 Alkyd stoving topcoat from Cromadex offers direct to metal adhesion which helps to cut application costs, good exterior durability suitable for many applications, and a proven performance. The coating also meets the requirements of Defence Standards 80-25 and 80-48.

Ovens
We offer a large capacity oven for components up to 7.4m in length.

Finishes
Stove enamelling is offered in a range of textures and gloss levels. Textures available include leatherettes, hammer and smooth. Gloss levels available include:

• Matt: 30% gloss
• Satin: 60% gloss
• Full Gloss: 80% gloss

Smooth Finish
Whilst stove enamelling has generally been superceded by powder coating in most applications it is still the finish of choice where a smooth and exceptionally high quality coating is desirable.
